The resident phase of the 2022 Program on Applied Security Studies kicked off Sep. 27 at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies.

Countries present included Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, and Ukraine.

The Marshall Center alumni group was able to get an introduction of the EU Strategic Compass which was recently agreed upon, and visit the NATO Headquarters.

The NATO BILC Testing Workshops serve as an opportunity for increased standardization of testing practices across the BILC-member nations.

The trip is focused on capturing insights on how NATO and the EU strengthen the resilience, capacity and capability of its member states, its friends, neighbors and potential EU and NATO partners.
