Participants for the workshop, aptly titled “The European Union as a Strategic Actor,” represented an array of prominent institutes and universities with programs focused on European security.

This one-week course brought together 41 participants from 13 countries to focus on the regional security issues within Southeast Europe.

This seminar focused on energy independence, alternative and renewable sources and the importance of regional cooperation.

The Marshall Center is the only DOD Regional Center to partner with another country – The Federal Republic of Germany.
