The seminar Col. Shams organized is a text book example of the Marshall Center's mission.

Around 20 participants from nine countries, most of them alumni of the Marshall Center, came together to discuss the challenges of international interconnectedness and interdependence in times of increased strategic competition.

This one-week course brought together 41 participants from 13 countries to focus on the regional security issues within Southeast Europe.

The three-day forum in Rome brought together 58 participants from 10 countries on 3 continents

Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Dr. Celeste Wallander gave the keynote address

Retired Brig. Gen. Rolf Wagner, German Deputy Director of the Marshall Center, welcomed the participants coming from Ukraine, Poland, Georgia, Moldova, Hungary, Norway, Sweden, the UK, Germany, and the United States.
