The Marshall Center held an alumni event in Budapest Nov. 19 focused on the changing faces of terrorism, current trends, and future challenges.

Marshall Center alumni, security experts, and government leaders gathered for the tenth annual Black Sea Regional Alumni Forum, hosted by the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, to address the evolving security landscape

Local community club, Friends of the Marshall Center (FOMC), recently hosted an informative evening, inviting members from the Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club, and Lions Club for an update on the ongoing Russian war on Ukraine.

The workshop served as a platform for the exchange of legal perspectives and operational experiences regarding the processing, sharing, and safeguarding of personal data

The highlight of the event was the opportunity to compete for the prestigious Bundeswehr Schützenschnur, a marksmanship badge awarded by the German armed forces.

This year's conference, jointly hosted by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense of Ukraine and Bulgaria, drew delegations from 43 countries and 9 international organizations.

The event, hosted by Mr. Răzvan Prișcă, Member of the Chamber of Deputies, was also attended by Romanian Senator Roberta Anastase, GCMC leadership and professors on strategic and regional security studies.

Dr. Cüneyt Gürer, Professor of Transnational Security Studies gives a lecture to the students of Department of Safety Security Management Studies.
