Polish Armed Forces Brig. Gen. Kazimierz Dynski joined the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in June 2025 as a military professor. Previously, he was the chief of the Air and Missile Defence Directorate and deputy combat service support inspector in the Polish Armed Forces’ General Command in Warsaw. 

Dynski began his military education in 1979 at the Secondary Aviation School, followed by the Radar Engineering School, before beginning his career in ground-based air defense units in 1987. He was later assigned to the Polish Air Force Command, where he served in roles related to air force training and operations, progressing through a range of staff positions. He served in the NATO Air Component Command Headquarters in Ramstein, Germany, as the training and exercise division chief. 

During his career, Dynski held positions dealing with training and operational capabilities development of NATO and the Polish Armed Forces. When the restructuring process of the Polish Armed Forces began, he became chief of the Organization Group of the Polish Armed Forces’ General Command. In August 2018, he was appointed chief of operations and deputy chief of staff of the General Command. From 2020 to 2021, he served as commander of the 3rd Air and Missile Defence Brigade. He was the national representative to the NATO Airborne Early Warning and Control Programme Management Organization Board of Directors. For several years he also chaired the National Standardization Committee. 

Dynski graduated from the Polish National Defence Academy and the U.S. Air War College in Montgomery, Alabama. He was promoted to the rank of brigadier general on Aug. 15, 2020.

Dynski’s awards include the Gold Cross of Merit, the Air Force Cross of Merit, Gold Medal of Merit for National Defence, Gold Medal of the Armed Forces in the Service of the Fatherland, Gold Badge of the Distinguished Soldier of the Republic of Poland, and the Medal in Service for God and Fatherland.
