Strengthening Cooperation with the NATO Joint Warfare Centre
Marshall Center leadership hosted representatives from the NATO Joint Warfare Centre in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on March 11, 2026, for discussions focused on strengthening cooperation and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
The visit provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on respective missions and areas of expertise, while Marshall Center faculty shared warfighting and academic insights in support of upcoming NATO exercise preparations.
“This was a valuable opportunity to learn more about each other’s work and identify areas where our expertise may complement NATO exercise development and our own course development,” said Barre Seguin, Marshall Center director. “Sharing perspectives on regional security challenges and strategic competition further enhance multinational exercises to reflect today’s security realities.”
The NATO Joint Warfare Centre plays a key role in supporting the Alliance by designing and delivering major multi-domain exercises at the strategic and operational levels that strengthen readiness and interoperability across NATO forces.
