College of International and Security Studies
In 2026, the Marshall Center will offer a new slate of programs designed to address emerging security challenges and strengthen European-led deterrence and burden-sharing.
For the first time, registration for resident courses is open to self-funded professionals from government, defense, industry, and academia.
Beginning now, self-nominated participants may apply to attend all or part of "Strategic Competition and Russia," a four-week program examining great-power rivalry, institutional adaptation, and hybrid threats on NATO’s eastern flank beginning in January.
Course fees vary depending on the package booked, starting at $215 per course week, and may include tuition only; tuition and housing; or tuition, housing, and transportation support. Scholarships may be available to some participants, the status of which will be made clear during the application process.
Interested individuals with English language proficiency who can demonstrate proven experience and official capacity in security, defense, or related policy disciplines are encouraged to self-nominate by visiting the "Strategic Competition and Russia" course page below.
Applications for the remaining programs will be available later this year.
