Security in the 21st Century: Interview with Ian Brzezinski

GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN (Jan. 21, 2021) – In this episode Dr. Suzanne Loftus interviews Ian Brzezinski, Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Europe and NATO Policy under President George W. Bush. Topics of discussion include the Three Seas Initiative, 5G and the future of defense, NATO’s role in a transatlantic strategy on China and of course our three themes of great power competition, transatlantic relations and disinformation campaigns.

The aim of the Marshall Center’s Security in the 21st Century video podcast is to engage in conversations with professionals from different sectors of society such as government, academia, international organizations and the private sector to achieve an integrated approach to security.
