The George C. Marshall European Center’s Program on Terrorism and Security Studies released a report on the best practices of women in counter terrorism following a recent alumni community of interest workshop.

The report is a summary of best practices and lessons learned following the PTSS community of interest workshop held at the Marshall Center, Jan. 9-13. Sixty counter terrorism professionals from 44 countries participated.

The lessons learned include increasing women’s participation in traditional areas of counter terrorism, and ways to prevent and counter violent extremism and radicalization.
