Roloff July15

GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (July 15, 2015) – Dr. Ralf Roloff, senior German professor at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies,  talks about what international security policy means and what subjects are taught in this German-American educational institution to a combination class of 3rd and 4th graders at the German elementary school Gröben at the Marshall Center here July 15. Roloff’s presentation was part of a Marshall Center Public Affairs Office tour program. Each year, about 500 Bundeswehr, schools and other local visitors take part in the PAO tours conducted by German air force Senior Master Sgt. Mark Winkler, from the Marshall Center public affairs office.  The mission of the Marshall Center, as a vital instrument of German-American cooperation, is to create a more stable security environment by advancing democratic institutions and relationships; promoting active, peaceful, whole-of-government approaches to address transnational and regional security challenges; and creating and enhancing enduring partnerships worldwide.
