GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (Feb. 24, 2015) – James Howcroft, director of the Program in Terrorism and Security Studies, congratulates and welcomes 12 graduates of the Combating Terrorism Language Program Feb. 24 at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies here. The CTLP is designed for counterterrorism professionals who want to improve their English skills before attending PTSS or the Program in Applied Security Studies.

The PTSS 15-03 starts Feb. 25. The mission of the Marshall Center, as a vital instrument of German-American cooperation, is to create a more stable security environment by advancing democratic institutions and relationships; promoting active, peaceful, whole-of-government approaches to address transnational and regional security challenges; and creating and enhancing enduring partnerships worldwide.
