GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (Dec. 4, 2014) – U.S. Army Sgt. Amanda Moncada, photographer from the Visual Information Directorate at George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, takes photos of the Program on Cyber Security Studies’ participants for their student identification cards here. Registration of the 67 participants from 46 countries took three days. Staff from almost all sections of the Marshall Center helped to get these participants ready to start class Thursday, Dec. 4. This was the first time registration was done during weekdays, vice weekends. Focusing on ways to address the many challenges in the cyber environment, PCSS is a brand new course for the Marshall Center. The mission of the Marshall Center is to create a more stable security environment by advancing democratic institutions and relationships, especially in the field of defense; promoting active, peaceful security cooperation; and enhancing enduring partnerships throughout the world.
