GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (Oct. 2, 2014) – Lt. Gen. (Ret) Keith W. Dayton, direct or of the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, points out the Zugspitze, highest mountain in Germany, to Thomas Ross Jr., deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Security Cooperation, during his visit here Oct. 2.

Ross received a brief about the Marshall Center mission, an update on the Partnership for Peace Consortium and observed the Program on Applied Security Studies course in progress here. He is responsible for prioritizing Department of Defense bilateral and multilateral security cooperation activities and aligning security cooperation resources to the defense strategy.
