GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (Sept. 29, 2014)  — German air force Lt. Col. Andreas Hellwig, deputy course director for the Program on Applied Security Studies here, explains the Elements of National Security Strategy Development Sept. 30 to almost 100 participants from 45 countries during PASS 14-09  at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies here. The afternoon topic was on the Global Economy taught by the PASS Academic Advisor Dr. Jack Treddenick. In the evening, the participants met with the Lord Mayor of Garmisch-Partenkirchen Dr. Sigrid Meierhofer, courtesy of the Friends of the Marshall Center.
