GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (Sept. 2, 2014) – Dr. Robert Brannon, dean of the College of International and Security Studies, presents Marshall Center Scholars Program certificates to Irina Tsertsvadze and Natia Kalandarishvilli Aug. 29 at the George C. Marshall European Center here. Tsertsvadze and Kalandarishvili researched the process and procedures of cooperation between the Parliament and the Government in the European Union integration phase, and drafting of the Guidelines for Coordination between the Parliament and the Government of Georgia in the Process of EU Integration.

The mission of the Marshall Center is to create a more stable security environment by advancing democratic institutions and relationships, especially in the field of defense; promoting active, peaceful security cooperation; and enhancing enduring partnerships among the nations of North America, Europe and Eurasia. Their research was sponsored by the Marshall Center Alumni Scholar’s Program, which is part of the center’s alumni program.
