GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (Aug. 8, 2014) – Birgit Schulte (right), director of the information center of the Bundeswehr in Bonn, and Gabriele Biedermann-Zimmermann (center), supervisor of the education center of the Bundeswehr in Mannheim, visit the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies’ Research Library Aug. 7 here.

The purpose of their visit was to see how the Marshall Center Research Library organizes access to its databases and offers multi-language resources for course participants. The Bundeswehr visitors were given a brief by German air force Col. Heinz-Joachim Henseler (second from left), Marshall Center’s executive course director for Seminar on Regional Security, a tour by Brigitta Pirzer (second from right), a Marshall Center’s reference librarian, and escorted by German air force Senior Master Sgt. Mark Winkler (left), from the Marshall Center’s public affairs office.
