Prof. Kriendler in Slovakia

LIPTOVSKY MIKULAS, Slovakia (July 9, 2014) – Professor John Kriendler, professor of NATO and European Security Studies at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, lectures on NATO: Key Issues at Wales,” June 22 during the Center for European and North Atlantic Affairs Summer School for Young Professionals held at the Armed Forces Academy here.

The week-long course organized by the Center for European and North Atlantic Affairs focused on challenges posed by the global security environment. The program was inaugurated by U.S. Ambassador to Slovakia Theodore Sedgwick and CENNA Director Robert Ondrejcsik, as well as a senior representative of the Slovak Defense Academy.

Students included 20 young professions from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Kosovo, Serbia, Ukraine and Slovenia. (Photo provided by Peter Novak)
