Women History Month

GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (March 28, 2014) -- Dr. Valbona Zeneli, professor of International Security Studies at the George C. Marshall European Center talks about how a successful women and men are perceived differently March 28 at the center’s Celebrating Women of Character, Courage and Commitment Women’s History Month event held here. U.S. Navy Capt. Pamela Ball, Military Professor of International Law and Deputy Director, Senior Executive Seminar and Maureen Riggs, deputy garrison manager for U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria - Garmisch Community, were also guest speakers at the hour-long event. Women's History Month is an annual declared month that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.
