Dr. Daniel Milton joined the Marshall Center in July 2024 and is a professor of transnational security studies. Dr. Milton also serves as part of the team for the Program on Terrorism and Security Studies.

Prior to joining the Marshall Center in 2024, Dr. Milton was the director of research at the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point and a professor in the Department of Social Sciences also at the United States Military Academy for 11 years. He previously held academic positions as an assistant professor at Arkansas State University and as a visiting assistant professor at Brigham Young University.
