The Alumni Office was established in 1998 to provide Marshall Center graduates with an organizational point-of-contact for news, information and services. The Alumni Office mission has steadily evolved to meet the needs of the Center's alumni and now includes 6 full-time staff, whose duties also include facilitating alumni outreach events in our partner nations and conducting major multi-day conferences, seminars and workshops to address a wide-range of security issues with distinguished alumni and communities of interest. Today, the Center has over 12,500 alumni, whose numbers include senior policymakers and military officers, as well as career civil servants from dozens of ministries in 153 partner nations. The Alumni Office mission statement is to "connect, communicate and cooperate" with graduates and collectively create a more stable world.

The Marshall Center Members Portal, GlobalNet, is a password protected web portal that can be accessed via the Internet throughout the world.  GlobalNET allows Marshall Center alumni, staff and partners to maintain contact with one another, share their most recent career and contact information, post stories and discuss current events in academic discussion groups, as well as download newsletters and various academic materials presented at the Marshall Center or during the Center's numerous Outreach Events.  Furthermore, participants have indefinite access to academic materials from their resident courses.  GlobalNET also provides users access to many news and information databases that offer the full texts of articles and research papers from thousands of periodicals in multiple languages. To access GlobalNET directly, go to the alumni tab and click “GlobalNET”.
