Москве

По приглашению Российской Ассоциации выпускников Центра изучения вопросов безопасности имени Маршала, представители ЦМ приняли участие в проведении двух совместных «круглых столов» в Москве 20 апреля 2005 г. От ЦМ: ген/м-р (ВВС США, в отс.) Майкл Макарти, заместитель директора с американской стороны; д-р Джон Репперт, декан Колледжа ЦМ по изучению вопросов международной безопасности. Преподаватели ЦМ: д-р Игорь Зевелев и д-р Ральф Ролофф. Первый «круглый стол» состоялся в Государственной Думе под названием «Роль трансатлантического сотрудничества в решении глобальных проблем». Участвовали члены оборонного комитета и комитета по международным вопросам Государственной Думы, несколько российских экспертов, а также выпускники ЦМ. В тот же день состоялась следующая дискуссия, организованная Ассоциацией выпускников для более широкой аудитории выпускников и специалистов в Дипломатической Академии МИДа РФ. Эта дискуссия называлась «Новые возможности для сотрудничества в области безопасности». Преподаватели ЦМ и 45 выпускников ЦМ получили возможность обменяться знаниями и опытом с широким кругом специалистов по российской безопасности. Ранее на этой неделе несколько выпускников ЦМ участвовали в конференции, организованной совместно Московским центром Карнеги и ЦМ.

The Diplomatic Academy’s Assembly Hall provided a wonderful venue for the Marshall Center alumni and other roundtable guests participating in the Security Cooperation Roundtable.
