The Marshall Center Occasional Paper Series:
The Marshall Center Occasional Papers seeks to further the legacy of the Center’s namesake, General George C. Marshall, by publishing scholarly works that contribute to his ideal of ensuring that Europe and Eurasia are democratic, free, undivided, and at peace. Papers selected for this series are meant to identify, discuss, and influence current defense-related security issues. The Marshall Center Occasional Paper Series focuses is on comparative and interdisciplinary topics, including international security and democratic defense management, civil-military relations, strategy formulation, terrorism studies, defense planning, arms control, peacekeeping, crisis management, regional and cooperative security. The Marshall Center Occasional Papers are written by Marshall Center faculty and research staff, Marshall Center alumni, or by individual, invited contributors, and are disseminated online and in paper versions.
The Marshall Center Policy Insights Series: Articles written for the Marshall Center Policy Insights are short papers meant to identify, explain, and put into context significant current defense and security issues. The focus is on national and international security, defense management and planning, international relations, peacekeeping, and peace enforcement, crisis management, and arms control. The Marshall Center Policy Insights are generally authored by Marshall Center faculty and staff.

The intention of the Marshall Center Paper was to provide an outlet for invited experts to discuss important defense-related security issues.
Marshall Center Research Program Publications:
The Research Program has completed several scholarly publications, in book-form, as well as a variety of articles and research reports since its inception.
