Assigned to the Marshall Center from Goodfellow AFB, TX where he worked as a Drill Sergeant for two years. During that time, he trained Army linguists to become advanced Soldiers on a daily basis.

Joined the Army on February 19, 1991 as a Russian linguist. Went on to study additional languages but always fell back on Russian. SFC Rodriguez has been formally trained in Russian, Arabic and Uzbek. He is native Spanish and can speak Italian.
