NOTICE OF INTENT: The George C. Marshall Center in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Holiday Inn Hotel, Bosnia and Herzegovina for 147 room nights to include conference facilities from 15-24 Sep 2008 for NATO RET and Manpower Workshop under the authority of FAR 6.302-2. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Sources that believe they have the capability under this requirement may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified Government point of contact no later than 1 p.m. local time (CET), on 07 August 2008. Such capabilities and qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
