NATO’s Transformation will be the pivotal theme of its Summit in Riga in November 2006. En route to Riga, the critical elements of such transformation will be widely debated both inside and outside NATO. The 8th Annual Marshall Center-NATO Defence and Security Economics Directorate Conference will provide a major international forum for discussing the financial and resource implications of many key issues. This high-level conference has attracted more than 80 participants from NATO Allied, Partner for Peace and Mediterranean Dialogue countries. The Conference is structured and organised in order to provide recommendations and to deliver advice into the political process accompanying the preparations for the Summit.
