Ruth Micka Research Assistant, Research Program Division College of International and Security Studies
Background
Ms. Micka started her career with the Federal Government in 1976, working at the Defense Mapping Agency Aerospace Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
In 1991 she relocated to Mainz, Germany where she worked for the 106th Transportation Battalion. Her overseas assignments have brought her experience in Ansbach, Germany where she was assigned to the S3; Heidelberg, Germany where she worked for DoD Contractor Personnel Office (DOCPER) and to Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) near Mons, Belgium where she worked in Resource Management for the US Army Element, NATO.
After working two years for the Aviation and Troop Command (ATCOM) Legal Department in Huntsville, Alabama, Ms. Micka joined the Marshall Center staff in September 2004.
