The Marshall Center Club in Serbia organizes their second meeting in the New Year
January 10, 2008
Fifty-four members of the Marshall Center Club in Serbia held their second meeting January 10 at the Central Military Club. As with the inaugural meeting on November 1, this meeting included Marshall Center graduates and their spouses, as well as additional guests from the U.S. Embassy, Serbia Atlantic Council, University of Belgrade and the International Academic Center. A special invitation was extended to 20 Serbian students, home for the holidays, who are currently studying in the U.S. under the auspices of the IAC and funded by various U.S. universities.
Graduates were given the chance to continue discussions from the last Forum that was held in December, meet with Embassy officials and network with some of the latest graduates from the Marshall Center as well as the other invited guests.
"The Serbian Alumni Association is a perfect example of how the Serbian students could be organized and work together after graduation in the US," said Mrs. Elizabeth Chung, Director of the IAC.
