Marshall Center Supports CIMIC Conference in Poland
September 6, 2007
On 6 September 2007 the Marshall Center proudly supported a one-day conference in Warsaw titled “Civil-Military Cooperation in Crisis Management”. The event, which was held at the National Defense Academy (AON) and attended by over 140 representatives representing over a half dozen public institutions, was organized by Marshall Center alumni from the Department for Crisis Management and Defense Affairs in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration (MSWiA), with support from AON and the Ministry of National Defense (MON). Poland’s National Security Bureau (BBN), the Central Military Library (CBW) and the Marshall Center Alumni Association of Poland also played major supporting roles in executing the conference. Our thanks to the Polish team for their hospitality and skill in bringing this major inter-ministerial event possible to address a wide-range of issues associated with civil-military cooperation.
