A Marshall Center Alumni Security Cooperation Roundtable was held in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan, on 15 February 2007. The roundtable was organized jointly by the Office of Defense Cooperation, U.S. Embassy, Dushanbe, and the Marshall Center’s Graduate Support Program, with generous assistance from the Center for Civil-Military Relations. Dr. Roger Kangas, Marshall Center Professor, spoke on “Current Trends in U.S. Policy toward Central Asia.” Mr. Tom Hushek, U.S. Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission, gave opening remarks. Mr. Joseph Embler, Marshall Center Graduate Support representative, gave a brief presentation about the Marshall Center and opportunities for alumni.
