Graduate Support was established in 1998 to provide Marshall Center alumni with an organizational point-of-contact for news, information and services, as well as to report on the career successes of the Center's alumni to stakeholders in Germany and the United States.

The Graduate Support mission has steadily evolved to meet the needs of the Center's alumni and now includes eight full-time staff, whose duties also include facilitating alumni outreach events in our partner nations, conducting major multi-day conferences, seminars and workshops to address a wide-range of security issues, and posting a daily Program on Terrorism and Security Studies (PTSS) Counter-Terrorism e-Newsletter.Today, the Center has over 6,000 alumni, whose numbers include senior policymakers and military officers, as well as career civil servants from dozens of ministries in nearly 110 partner nations. The Graduate Support mission statement is to "connect, communicate and cooperate" with alumni and collectively create a more stable world.

The Marshall Center Knowledge Portal is a password protected web portal that can be accessed via the Internet throughout the world.
