GARMISCH, Germany — Herve LeBras, academic director at the School of Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences in Paris, speaks on east-west migration after the fall of the Berlin Wall April 17, the second day of the Marshall Center's spring 2008 Senior Executive Seminar.
SES, which is held twice a year, offers a forum for an international group of policy makers to address an international security issue in depth. During the current session senior civilian officials, parliamentarians and military officers from 45 countries are examining how migration into Europe and between European nations challenges internal and international security and what policies are most effective in addressing the challenges.
