Das Alumni-Büro  wurde 1998 als Kontaktadresse für die Absolventen des Marshall Center eingerichtet. Hier werden erfahren sie, was es Neues gibt,  erhalten Informationen und können Dienstleistungen in Anspruch nehmen. Die Interessenvertreter des Marshall Center in Deutschland und den Vereinigten Staaten werden über den weiteren beruflichen Werdegang der Alumni auf dem Laufenden gehalten.

 
Um der wachsenden Nachfrage gerecht zu werden, weitet sich der Aufgabenbereich des Alumni-Büros ständig aus. Mittlerweile sind hier acht Vollzeitkräfte tätig, die unter anderem Alumni-Veranstaltungen in Partnerländern organisieren und mehrtätige Konferenzen sowie Seminare und Workshops zu den unterschiedlichsten Themen im Bereich Sicherheit ausrichten. Dazu kommt täglich der Versand des Email-Rundbriefs des Forums Terrorismus und Sicherheit. Mittlerweile ist die Zahl der Alumni auf über 6.000 gestiegen. Unter ihnen sind zahlreiche politische und militärische Entscheidungsträger sowie Beamte in Dutzenden von Ministerien in etwa 110 Partnerländern. Das Motto des Alumni-Büro lautet „Kontakt, Kommunikation und Kooperation“. So leistet es gemeinsam mit den Alumni einen Beitrag zu einer stabileren Welt.


In das Marshall Center Wissensportal können sich die Alumni mit einem Kennwort von überall per Internet einloggen. Dieses Wissensportal ermöglicht ihnen sowie den Mitarbeitern und Partnern des  Marshall Center miteinander in Kontakt zu bleiben, über ihre weitere berufliche Laufbahn zu berichten, Neuigkeiten auszutauschen, aktuelle Themen in Studiengruppen zu diskutieren sowie Rundbriefe und Materialien herunterzuladen, die im Marshall Center oder bei einer der zahlreichen Veranstaltungen präsentiert werden. Darüber hinaus bietet das Wissensportal den Nutzern Zugang zu über 20 kommerziellen Nachrichten- und Informationsdatenbanken, die Artikel und Forschungsberichte aus tausenden von Fachzeitschriften in voller Länge und mehreren Sprachen veröffentlichen. Dr. Nika Chitadze, a Georgian professor of international relations, is the Marshall Center’s April Graduate of the Month.
